The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has indefinitely postponed the 24th Ordinary Session of Congress which was scheduled to be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram on Thursday, 8 February 2018.
The postponement is as a result of a legal action brought against the GFA by Accra Great Olympics Football Club.
Olympics say Bechem United and Elmina Sharks fielded unqualified players against them last season but the GFA did nothing about it when they petitioned. They want that matter settled before the league starts.
The GFA has also indefinitely postponed its much-publicised seminar for the Premier, Division One, Women’s League Clubs, match officials and the media scheduled for Wednesday, 7 February 2018 at the GSCE in Prampram.
