Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said “good health is better than riches”.
“It is when you don’t feel well that you appreciate what God has given you and when God gives you good health, you really need to appreciate it and take good care of it.
“As I was just saying in Hausa, good health is better than riches. In fact, it is much better than riches and we have to thank God for the good health that he gives us and we have to be most grateful,” Dr Bawumia said when he joined Muslims to say Friday prayers at the Central Mosque, Abbosey-Okai, on 2 February 2018 – a day after his return from the UK on medical leave.
Dr Bawumia was away for 12 days.
He was met at the Kotoka International Airport by President Nana Akufo-Addo and the First Lady upon his return on Thursday night.
